September 8th Post

Well this week was pretty sad because Elder Prows went home, but it was fun having him as a companion while it lasted. I’m grateful for being able to have had such great companions in the mission. I’m really excited to be working with Elder Clark now! He is from Idaho!!!! He reminds me a lot of Nick Famolaro to be honest haha so that’s definitely a good thing! It should be a great transfer!

We found a new investigator this week and he seems really promising! He is the grandson of a member in our ward and he doesn’t have any religious background which gives us open ground. His name is Alejandro and he is 22 years old. He expressed to us that he feels bad about different errors he made earlier in his life and he wants to learn how to receive forgiveness. We taught him about prayer and repentance and he seems really interested!

His uncle Nabor is another investigator we have and he came to church on Sunday! He accepted a baptismal date for the 17th of September and we are excited to keep working with him. The young men’s president in our ward is really excited to help us out with him. We had a lesson with Nabor last week in the temple too and it went really well! He felt the spirit and was very impressed by everything in the temple. He could really feel the peace inside the waiting room and when we walked out he told us that he could feel the difference outside of the temple.

I’m not sure what else to write....so...have a great week!
