Week 4

This week started out with a lot of throwing up and diarrhea hahahahaha it was terrible....also my companion got sick with dengue symptoms again so we weren't able to go out and work monday and Tuesday, but we got back into it and worked hard! I wont eat food from the streets for a while hahaha

New Years was definitely fun! We got together with other elders and had an amazing firework display!(; I also got to eat some grasshoppers that they had there and they were actually pretty good! The only thing i didnt like was the legs getting stuck in my teeth hahaha.

On friday we went to visit an investigator that we've been working with and we ended up talking with her for 2 hours! After the 2 hours she accepted our invitation to be baptized on the 10th!!! this Saturday!!!  She has been seeing missionaries for over a year and has been faithfully going to church, but never accepted baptism. My companion was super happy and shocked because when he went to visit her with his other companion, she didnt have a desire at all to be baptized. We are going to visit her tonight and throughout the week so that the date doesnt drop. I know that Satan work hard in the week leading up to baptism to prevent it from happening, so we are going to work hard with her this week! Hopefully it all works out and i have my first baptism this week!!!!! She is definitely ready and i am really excited for her. Her names Mary by the way haha

Another cool experience happened Saturday night. I contacted this man who was pretty drunk and i was able to talk to him for a while and he accepted my invitation to come to church with us the next day and change his life! So we passed by for him the next day. he was exactly where he said he would be and we were able to take him to church! It was an amazing experience!

You guys will see some photos of me at this place called Izapa! They were these mini pyramids! It was pretty cool!

Well i have to go, but know that i love all of you guys and i hope you have a great week!
